Dianella House

Nestled into the hillside, Dianella House captures panoramic views over rolling hills and Tamworth’s evening lights. Designed as a family home, its layout balances shared and retreat spaces across four sections. A raked ceiling in the central living area welcomes northern light, while the lower level anchors the home with garaging, a rumpus, and utility spaces. The children’s wing overlooks the pool and cabana, while the master suite and office frame stunning city views.

Collaborating on this home was incredibly rewarding, especially working alongside my father, Robert, who helped shape the design and build. Bringing the vision to life was a true team effort, and working with the interior designer was key in tying everything together. The owners had a clear vision, trusting me to refine the details and finishes to achieve a bold yet timeless transitional style. A rich mix of steel, American oak, travertine, and sandy-toned render creates texture and longevity, while warm oak, marbled stone, and black accents bring a refined yet welcoming feel inside.
